Adrik Jenkin, on the day he lost his father, delivers emotional 34-point performance in Colfax’s state win

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Reece Jenkin would have been so proud.

His daughter drops 41 points to defeat No. 15 seed Okanogan and advance to the Arena, and later on the same night, in the same gym, his son follows up with 34 more points and another win.

The No. 1-seeded Colfax Bulldogs beat the No. 8-seeded Liberty Bell Mountain Lions, 96-49, to advance to the quarterfinals.

Jenkin passed the 2,000-point mark with the win, scoring 15 first-quarter points and 21 at halftime.

Colfax will play one of Okanogan/Reardan/Napavine/Northwest Christian in their quarterfinal game next Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
