OTHELLO, Wash. – The Adams County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) is actively searching for Ismael Milan-Basurto, who is wanted in a child rape case.
ACSO said they received a report on January 4, 2026, about an incident in the 800 block of S Steele Rd in Othello.
Through investigation, deputies established probable cause for Milan-Basurto’s arrest, ACSO said in a release.
The 20-year-old is wanted on several charges, including rape in the second degree, incest in the first degree, rape of a child in the second degree and child molestation in the second degree.
Investigators said Milan-Basurto fled before deputies could make contact with him. ACSO is asking for the public’s help in locating him.
