WASHINGTON STATE – The state of Washington has experienced a notable increase in active real estate listings, marking the largest year-over-year rise since 2022. This development was highlighted in June housing data released by the Northwest Multiple Listing Service.

All 27 counties within the service area reported double-digit gains in active listings. The figures showed a 38.8 percent increase from June 2024 and an 8.3 percent increase from May 2025. Analysts indicated that this boost in inventory could signal a shift toward a more balanced market.

In terms of housing prices, the median home price in June rose slightly to $670,000, reflecting a 1.5 percent increase from May. Furthermore, the number of closed sales in June climbed 1 percent compared to the previous year.
