REPUBLIC, Wash. – The Ferry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating repeated burglaries at the Hecla Mine site and is looking for two suspects.

Ferry County deputies said the burglaries happened in the Hecla Mine site near Knob Hill Road on April 19 around 9 a.m. Deputies said the suspects caused over $1,000 in damages as they broke windows and cabinets while reportedly robbing the building.

The Sheriff’s Office has a photo of the two suspects, both young men, riding a green four-wheeler onto the property before their commission of the felonies.

Ferry deputies said the suspects did leave behind some DNA as the deputies did recover some blood and a ball cap.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who believes they can identify the suspects to call the Office at 509-775-3132.
