SPOKANE, Wash. – Downtown Spokane is continuing a tradition on January 9 of celebrating local artists on the first Friday of the month, however, a new twist is being introduced for 2026.
This year, the monthly event will feature a live draw-off competition. Painters will create work during the two-hour event, showcasing their artistic process.
The event will take place at the Parkade Plaza.
This new addition aims to engage the community and highlight the talents of local artists. Residents and visitors are encouraged to attend and support the creative scene in Spokane.
