The Resource Center of Spokane County (RCSC) is becoming known as the premier social services one-stop center because of the number of services, resources, and support provided under one roof. The experience provided at the Resource Center of Spokane County is tailored to provide life-changing services that address four pillars of opportunity: economic empowerment, educational advancement, health & wellness, and individual improvement.

Now, they can add award-winning partners to their growing accomplishments.
Kurtis Robinson, Director of the Revive Center for Returning Citizens and Vice President of Spokane’s NAACP, was awarded the Washington Workforce Association’s inaugural Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion award at the 2022 WWA Conference in Seattle, WA. The award recognizes the excellence Robinson achieved through his work with partners that include IFIOC, Greater Spokane Progress, and other community professionals dedicated to providing equity to marginalized communities.
The RCSC has assisted over 7,500 individuals since launching in 2019 and is committed to continuing to modify offerings to meet the ever-changing needs of those in Spokane County. By providing a single location where two dozen non-profits and other partners offer services, a single visit to the RCSC can connect customers with a wide variety of support ranging from information about housing and rental assistance to access to community health providers.
Some of the no-cost justice-involved services, resources, and support include:
- Workshops & Seminars:
- Roadmap to Success – Delivered in-person at the RCSC, the courses are available by appointment to the justice-involved community. Course participants will develop the necessary skills to find and keep employment while maintaining healthy, productive lives.
- Revive Center for Returning Citizen’s 5-Series Seminar, with Kurtis Robinson – these courses are designed for individuals who have been impacted by the criminal legal system. Class topics include addressing trauma, system oppression, historical contexts, and current impacts of structural racism. Customers will grow, decrease barriers to mental health stability, emotional well-being, and increase inclusion in a thriving community.
