COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – Idaho State Police are investigating a crash that left one person dead in Coeur d’Alene.
According to Idaho State Police, the crash happened around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday on Atlas Road at Arrowhead Road.
Troopers said an 80-year-old Coeur d’Alene woman was driving north on Atlas Road when she failed to maintain her lane. The car crossed the southbound lanes of Atlas Road, then left the roadway and crashed.
She was the only person in the car. She was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
