AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – The Spokane Transit Authority is celebrating the completion of 6th Avenue construction with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
The 6th Avenue construction project added general updates, including accessibility and better connectivity to the area. The project runs from Craig Road to Russel Street, with a new stretch of road connecting 6th Avenue to Craig Road.
The improvement includes new sidewalks, roundabouts and bus stops.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony from the street will be on Lundstrom Street at 1:30 p.m.
