THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. – Law enforcement agencies, including the Lacey and Olympia Police Departments, have arrested five suspects connected to a drug trafficking ring.
Authorities suspect the group distributed drugs and drug paraphernalia to children as young as 13 years old.
Detectives observed over 150 minors entering a home in Lacey during a regular school day, where they believe drug distribution occurred.
Police found cocaine, cannabis-related items packaged to appeal to youth buyers, multiple firearms, more than $26,000 in cash and other drugs at the location.
The investigation remains ongoing, with police suspecting the operations have been linked to several high-profile homicides over the years. However, they have not released specific details on these cases.
