
COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — who were killed in the line of duty while responding to a brush fire will be honored in separate Celebration of Life services in July.
According to the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department, Battalion Chief John Morrison Jr., 53, of the Coeur d’Alene Fire Department and Battalion Chief Frank Harwood, 42, of Kootenai County Fire & Rescue, .
Both were longtime members of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) 7th District, with Morrison serving in Local 710 and Harwood in Local 2856.
A Celebration of Life service for Morrison will be held on Thursday, July 10, followed by a service for Harwood on Friday, July 11. Both events will take place at the Hagadone Event Center, located at 900 South Floating Green Drive in Coeur d’Alene.
Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the families or their respective fire departments. Mail for Harwood can be addressed to 5271 East Seltice Way in Post Falls and for Morrison to 300 East Foster Ave in Coeur d’Alene.
Memorial fund contributions for both firefighters can be made through the IAFF at IAFF.org/Idaho-Lodd.
