
CHELAN COUNTY, Wash. – A two-car collision on State Route 97A claimed one life Tuesday night, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).
The crash happened around 7:12 p.m., 4 miles southwest of Chelan. WSP officials said a vehicle travelling southbound on Route 97A, near milepost 227, crossed into the northbound lane, resulting in a head-on collision with another car.
Both vehicles overturned, killing one person while injuring two others, WSP reported.
The incident remains under investigation.
