SPOKANE, Wash. – A woman was found dead near Spokane’s Minnehaha Park on Wednesday and Spokane’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
According to SCSO, deputies responded to reports of a dead woman near the 4500 block of East Buckey Avenue on Dec. 13 around 4:05 p.m.
Deputies have established a perimeter in the area, and the circumstances of what happened remain unknown, according to SCSO.
A NonStop Local crew on the scene said both the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office and Spokane Valley Police Department are on scene.
East Buckeye Avenue between North Custer and North Havana is closed. You should avoid the area.
Major Crimes Detectives are responding to investigate.
