SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – The Spokane Valley Fire Department (SVFD) responded to a plane crash near Skymeadow Lane and 44th Avenue.
Witnesses reported that an antique open cockpit biplane crashed while trying to take off from Skymeadow Airpark.
According to the SVFD, both passengers on board managed to exit safely. One passenger is being treated at a hospital for minor injuries.
The Spokane Valley Fire Department has alerted the FAA, who are now on the scene alongside Spokane County Fire District 8.
